The intercultural education as a key factor of the effectiveness against racism
Abstract
Racism is the expression of a relationship in which a domination demonstrates itself through all human relations. It takes on different forms, evolves continuously, and whatever variables it uses, it always reaches the same conclusion: that it is impossible for people of different cultures to coexist. Intercultural education, the very germ and yeast of coexistence, promotes a set of core principles that are vital in the fight against racism and discrimination.
Key Words: intercultural education, racism, multiculturalism, culture, cultural pluralism.
