Puppets: a tool for the XXI century school
Abstract
Puppet is an ancient scenic genre perhaps even undiscovered in its educational potential. Traditionally neglected in Europe and almost forgotten in many countries around the world, today everybody recognize its cultural and literary value. However, despite the fact that many teachers find it an educational tool of first order, are still very few publications and resources that can make viable its proper use in the classroom. We face as an element that can be a first-aid in opened, creative, interdisciplinary and intercultural education, but we must also face the fact still alive many myths and misconceptions about the puppet school use.
