They also oversee the entire editorial process, from the receipt of manuscripts to their final publication, coordinating the peer review process and making decisions on the acceptance or rejection of articles. They are also responsible for ensuring the scientific and ethical quality of the content and implementing rigorous processes to detect and manage conflicts of interest. They maintain fluid communication with authors and reviewers and constantly seek ways to innovate and improve editorial processes.

It also optimizes the article metadata to improve the visibility of the search engine and the academic database. It develops strategies to improve the journal’s performance in bibliometric rankings continuously, promote collaborations, and foster its recognition in the academic field.
